Table Tops and Bar Tops
An easy and affordable way to protect your furniture such as; dining room tables, desks, counter tops, patio furniture, end tables, dressers, bar tops and even restaurant tables is to protect it with glass. Hellenbrand Glass can cut and fit glass to conform to almost any piece of furniture that has a flat top. We are able to cut holes to allow for computer cables, notch a corner for a credenza, cut a radius corner to follow the corners on a desk or even cut an octagon shape for a funky end table. If it's flat, we can cut a piece of glass to protect it.
Another option is to use glass to accent or even replace certain pieces of furniture. Glass can be used just for the top surface of your table, desk or bar or we can design and construct your piece of furniture completely out of glass. Insulated Glass
Insulated Glass better known as I.G. Units or thermo panes consists of two or more lites of glass separated by a desiccated spacer and hermetically sealed primarily with a polyisobutylene, with secondary seals of polyurethane or silicone also available. To make your Insulated Glass more efficient, Low-emission glass (Low-E) is a clear glass with a microscopically thin coating of metal oxide. This allows the sun's heat and light to pass through the glass into the building. At the same time it blocks the heat from leaving the room, reducing heat loss considerably.

Fire Rated Glass
Over the last few years many building codes have changed regarding the use of fire rated glass. The days of wire glass meeting all of your needs are gone. However, there still is a place for wire glass. The newest clear fire rated glass panels can be expensive so please let Hellenbrand Glass review your specifications and suggest some options for your fire rated glazing needs.
Spandrel Glass
Spandrel glass is simply glass that you cannot see thru. It can be used to hide building structure or to accent an area. Spandrel glass is available in many standard colors as well as custom colors if needed.

Glass Etching
Custom glass etching can turn ordinary pieces of glass into extraordinary works of art. Glass etching can be an affordable alternative to stained glass. It can create privacy, block out harsh light, accent a room or even divide one room into two. With glass etching the possibilities are endless. We do not use acid to paint on the glass as this can provide an inconsistent surface. We use the sandblasting technique. This way the etching is permanent and the texture is even. Also, each piece of work is one of a kind. We do not use stencils. Feel free to bring in your own artwork or take a look at some of the jobs we've done to get ideas or just to see what we can do for you.
